SHOES LIKE POTTERY is a sneaker produced by Moonstar, a long-established shoe manufacturer founded in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1873. The vulcanization process, which can only be produced in a very small number of factories in Japan, involves baking the product in a kiln as the final step. This method was named after its similarity to the pottery process.
