Description

Although it looks like a simple canvas tote, it is packed with MEYAME's signature attention to detail. The material used is high-density No. 10 canvas produced in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, a city known for its textiles. A skilled craftsman can barely weave 50 metres of this material on a shuttle loom per day. The high density of the weave creates an uneven surface, giving the fabric a plump feel. Additionally, MEYAME has a unique process where the fabric is washed with plenty of fabric softener at the fabric stage, giving it a soft and supple texture. Since it is something that will be used daily, we made sure it can be washed at home and is wrinkle-resistant. (If you turn it inside out and wash it in a laundry net, it will be less likely to wrinkle.) The bag itself is very light, so it doesn't get heavy even when you put a lot of luggage in it.
