Introducing the orSlow TYPE2 1950'S DENIM JACKET UNISEX. The TYPE 2 DENIM JACKET is said to have been born in the 1950s. While retaining the front pleats that are a major feature of the TYPE1, this jacket is commonly known as the "2nd Type," which has been elevated from its image as workwear to western wear and a fashion item by changing the details such as the pockets and the silhouette. It was produced in the 1950s, and became more popular as a fashion item when it was worn by actors and musicians who were active at the time. The belt on the back has been eliminated and an adjuster has been added to the hem belt. The front pleats, a relic of Type 1, remain, but there are two front pockets. Orslow's 50's DENIM JACKET is made using original Selvedge denim that is carefully selected from the yarn stage. The 13.5 oz selvedge denim fabric is an original Orslow denim that was created by actually disassembling vintage denim and studying and examining in detail, using microscopes and magnifying glasses, the number of stitches and the shape of unevenness that are not visible at first glance. The material is woven from yarn with natural unevenness, similar to 1950s denim, and will age with repeated wearing and washing, becoming a piece of clothing that you will grow to love. The biggest difference from the 1st model, which follows the front pleat design, is the two flap pockets on the front.
