チャグチャグ馬コは、岩手の南部曲がり家に代表される「愛馬精神」から生まれ、まだ馬が農作業に使われていた頃、 農繁期の中で唯一の休息日として設けられた行事が発祥となる。
CCUはその愛馬精神に敬意を込め、使う度に愛着が湧き、普遍的なプロダクトを目指。
「LEATHER-COMFORTALE-PRODUCT」をコンセプトに、従来のレザーの硬さや着にくさなどのイメージを払拭するような柔らかなレザーの素材選びや人体とレザーの間の余白を⼤事にしたパターンメイキングを行う。

The brand name CCU originates from the festival called 'Chagu Chagu Umako,' a traditional event in Iwate where horses adorned in elaborate harnesses proceed ceremoniously.
