ABOUT THE DESIGN:
24SSのコーチジャケットをベースに、サイズ感を調整しコンパクトなシルエットに仕上げた一着です。一見シンプルなデザインながら、ポケットのディテールにはアメリカのスポーツジャケットの要素を取り入れ、実用性とデザイン性を両立させています。
さらに、サイドシームにもポケットを配置することで、見た目はすっきりしつつも優れた収納力を実現しました。

This piece is based on the 24SS coach jacket, with adjustments to the fit for a more compact silhouette. While the design appears simple at first glance, the pocket details incorporate elements from American sports jackets, striking a balance between functionality and style. Additionally, side seam pockets have been added, maintaining a clean look while offering excellent storage capacity

COW NUBUCK ABOUT LEATHER:
従来使用していたカウレザーは、シボが強く荒々しい印象が特徴でした。
しかし、今シーズンはシボの少ないパキスタンカウレザーを採用しました。
しっとりとした手触りが心地よく、高品質なレザーの銀面には、短く細やかな起毛が施され、繊細で洗練された表情が際立ちます。

Switching to Refined Pakistani Cow LeatherPreviously, we used cow leather characterized by pronounced grain and a rugged appearance. This season, however, we’ve adopted Pakistani cow leather with a finer, more subdued grain. Its soft and smooth texture provides a luxurious feel, while the high-quality grain surface features subtle, short nap, highlighting its delicate and sophisticated aesthetic.


CCU(シーシーユー)というブランド名は ”チャグチャグ馬コ” というお祭りに由来する。
チャグチャグ馬コは、岩手の南部曲がり家に代表される「愛馬精神」から生まれ、まだ馬が農作業に使われていた頃、 農繁期の中で唯一の休息日として設けられた行事が発祥となる。
CCUはその愛馬精神に敬意を込め、使う度に愛着が湧き、普遍的なプロダクトを目指。
「LEATHER-COMFORTALE-PRODUCT」をコンセプトに、従来のレザーの硬さや着にくさなどのイメージを払拭するような柔らかなレザーの素材選びや人体とレザーの間の余白を⼤事にしたパターンメイキングを行う。
アイテムではシャツを中心に展開し、日常に馴染むようなレザーアイテムがラインナップ。

The brand name CCU originates from the festival called 'Chagu Chagu Umako,' a traditional event in Iwate where horses adorned in elaborate harnesses proceed ceremoniously. Chagu Chagu Umako began about 200 years ago as a celebration to honor horses, allowing farmers to give their horses a day off after the rigors of rice-planting and to pray for their health at the shrine. CCU aims to create versatile products that honor this spirit of equine love, designed to deepen the bond with horses with every use. Under the concept of 'LEATHER-COMFORTABLE-PRODUCT,' the company selects soft leather materials that defy the conventional perception of leather as stiff and uncomfortable. Our approach includes meticulous patternmaking that considers the space between the human body and the leather.
