Description

In the late 1960s, 100% cotton fleece fabric was deemed dangerous under American fire safety regulations. It has come to include polyester, acrylic, and rayon. This product is a crew neck sweatshirt from a series that is a reproduction of the acrylic blend "REVERSE WEAVE®" that was used in the late 1970s. The blend ratio is faithful to that of the time, and all colors except silver gray are 90% cotton and 10% acrylic. Only the silver gray has rayon added to give the surface a heathered look, and is made of 82% cotton, 12% acrylic, and 6% rayon. It features a unique volume and texture, knitted on an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine. The absence of the C logo patch on the left sleeve is also a feature of the original design.
