The MAKALU JACKET from the WILDTHINGS archive has been modified for use around town. Outer material is lightweight SAITOS 3-layer nylon ripstop, The filling is made of Kawada Feather's recycled down (approximately 700FP). The old WILD CAT logo name is reproduced with an arrangement on the chest. The rounded silhouette creates a retro outdoor atmosphere. A new name has been added to the inside. The new name quotes the WILD THINGS CODE from the archives, which is connected to the brand concept of "Light is Right." KAWADA DOWN Feather products collected in Japan are disassembled and washed to create recycled feathers. The down is said to be cleaner than regular new feathers because it is once again dusted, washed, dried and sorted during recycling. Furthermore, Kawada Feather's advanced feather washing and recovery technology restores functions such as heat retention and moisture absorption. This high-quality down has passed Kawada Feather's unique strict recycled feather inspection standard (cleanliness level 3000mm) and is equivalent to 700FP. WILD THINGS is an outdoor brand founded in 1981 in North Conway, Massachusetts by two of America's leading mountaineers, John Borchardt and Marie Meunier.
