The SELVAGGIO tanner has a deep memory of his grandfather sitting in the armchair when he was still a child and talking to him about all sorts of things. As a homage to this beautiful memory, this leather called Selvaggio was born. Using the traditional baguette method, the leather is slowly tanned over time, and the oil is soaked into the leather by hand. A characteristic of this leather is that it is washed after dyeing, which gives it a unique vintage-like texture. The more it is used, the more glossy it becomes and the deeper the color becomes. Both SETA and SELVAGGIO are made from leather by Bretagna, a tannery located in the town of San Miniato in Tuscany, Italy. Only the part of the cow called the shoulder is used, and leather from the shoulder of a single cow is so precious that not much can be obtained. Notes *We make use of the texture of natural materials, so there may be uneven wrinkles, variations in shade in certain areas, and spots on the surface that are inherent to the leather. *Please note that due to the use of natural materials, there may be slight individual differences in size and weight. *If it gets wet due to rain, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth and dry it in the shade. Other than that, there is no need to do anything else since the leather is basically sufficiently oiled. If you feel that it has become dry, applying leather oil will restore the luster. * Regarding color transfer: As a precaution, we recommend wiping the surface with a towel before using the product, but since natural tannins are used, some discoloration and changes due to exposure to water or friction are unavoidable.
