【design】 The PADDED PILOT CAP is made of taffeta, a functional material with heat retention and water repellency, and has been stripped of all unnecessary elements to create a clean silhouette. Inside is kapok cotton, also known as vegetable down, which has excellent heat retention properties. It keeps you warm while minimizing bulk, and can be worn like a head hood that fits snugly around your head. The ear part is angled slightly diagonally so that it fits comfortably on the forehead without being too deep. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in how easy it is to put on. There is a toggle at the end of the flap so that when it gets cold you can fasten it under your chin like a balaclava. If you want to make your face look a little neater, you can fasten the flap, sweep it back and secure it at the back of your head.
