ONE WASH 81W Based on the denim hat used by the US NAVY in the 1940s, we have improved the quality while retaining the distinctive vintage atmosphere. The 9oz original selvedge denim is made with great attention to detail, from the cotton stage onwards, to the uneven thread shape, thread count, and number of threads per inch, recreating the denim used for workwear in the US from the 1940s to the early 1960s. The surface of the fabric is rough and uneven due to uneven threads and weaving on an old shuttle loom.
