The Rubberto sweatshirt is a reproduction of the legendary athletic shirt "RABART," which received a design patent around the same time in 1938 that the manufacturing patent for "REVERSE WEAVE®" was received. By separating the pattern between the shoulders and body, we have increased ease of movement while reducing the risk of shrinkage. Other key features include the large V-shaped neckline and binder neck design, which improves the fit to the body and creates a sloping shoulder. At the time, it was not Champion branded, and was only sold for a short period in some mail order catalogs. This reproduction product reproduces the original collar name with patent number and has a new name indicating that Champion has obtained the patent. Additionally, the absence of the C logo patch on the left sleeve remains consistent with the original specifications.
