Riprap cotton twill button-down shirt. At Riprap, we offer a standard line of formal suits under the name "HAND-CRAFTED SUIT" with the same fabric and shape each season. This is a BD shirt from the HAND-CRAFTED SUIT line. This is an item that Riprap has designed as a traditional BD shirt that can be worn both as a dress and casual piece. The fabric used is twill, which is not normally used for dress shirts. This is a cotton twill fabric with a very high density weave, which means it has a very fine weave, is firm and wrinkle-resistant, so you can wear it with a suit by ironing it, and it also looks good in casual settings, even when worn unwashed. The pattern is a box type with a wide body width. Tuck the shirt hem into your pants to create a loose fit. The fit is a classic relaxed fit. The stitching is done with very fine stitches, 24 stitches over 3cm, so it looks beautiful and is durable. The lining of the sleeve rag is made with a kangaroo stitch. This is the method I learned when I started production about 10 years ago, and it is designed to make the slits of the cuffs fit in the most beautiful way. The width of the fold-over stitch at the sides is 2 to 3 mm. The buttons are white mother-of-pearl buttons for the white version. Beige has natural color shell buttons, The olive and DK navy versions each feature black mother-of-pearl buttons. We believe that basic items are the kind of clothes that can be worn across eras and trends, so we have made our dress shirts to be sturdy.
