This is the 46G Artisan S/S Shirt from KANEMASA PHIL. “Artisan” is an item that, as the name suggests, has been made with the utmost attention to detail, from the materials to the sewing and dyeing process. We create our own super high gauge 46G jersey fabric using 100% 80/1 recycled Supima cotton. After that, it was salt-shrunk. This material has a unique texture and is one of a kind. After that, we garment dye the fabric. We use a special softening dyeing process to dye the fabric so that the drape and sheerness of the material are more apparent. When drying, each piece is dried naturally, preserving the texture of the material. The raw edges of the hem, sleeves, pockets, yokes, and gathered cuffs are all made at a sewing factory in Japan. It features a boxy silhouette with a wide body. The way it drapes when worn gives it a unique look. By using as little interlining as possible, the silhouette is created using only the texture of the fabric.
