SHOES LIKE POTTERY sneakers are produced by Moonstar, a long-established shoe manufacturer founded in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1873. The vulcanization process, which can only be produced in a very small number of factories in Japan, involves baking the product in a kiln as the final step. This method was named after its similarity to the pottery process. We use soft, textured domestic leather. Care Instructions We recommend that you spray your shoes with a waterproof spray before wearing them, or regularly. After wearing them, brush off the dust with a leather or shoe brush. For surface dirt or stains, use a commercially available eraser cleaner. Or use a spray-type leather cleaner.
